The 26HD-Chenille(816) (Model: 26HD-XYT816) is a 100% polyester warp-knit chenille upholstery fabric designed for hotel furniture, commercial seating, and residential sofa applications. Constructed on German Karl Mayer warp-knitting machines at 75D yarn count and 28E density, the fabric delivers a consistent chenille pile surface at 400 g/m² (±15 gsm) with a medium-weight hand feel. Width is 55/56" (140–142 cm). The fabric is produced on a Make-To-Order basis in customized solid colorways, with a minimum order quantity of 1,000 meters per color. It is shrink-resistant and waterproof as standard, making it suitable for high-contact upholstery surfaces in both residential and light contract environments.
Manufactured by Haining Haida Warp Knitting Co., Ltd — a 23-year warp-knitting specialist operating 15 German Karl Mayer machines with a daily output of 140,000 meters from a 10,000+ sqm facility in Haining Warp Knitting Technology Industrial Park, Zhejiang, China. This fabric is produced under OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 and GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certification frameworks. REACH, CA Prop 65, and CPSIA compliance documentation is available upon request. FR treatment options including BS 5852, CA TB117-2013, and IMO are available for contract and hospitality projects; buyers should confirm applicable standards at the inquiry stage.
