What buyers should request for OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100
OEKO-TEX certification for fabric buyers starts with the document scope for the sampled quality. Certificate numbers stay off this page.
Ask which qualities the current OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 covers, and ask for the file after inquiry. Haida renews that standard once a year, and the current file is valid. The certificate number is not published on the website. The mark is a substance-testing document for the named scope. It does not, by itself, prove waterproof performance, breathability, abrasion, or that every fabric in the catalog is covered.
Sourcing teams usually meet this question late, after a jacket or upholstery program has already named a finish. The useful move is to write the request before the sample leaves, so the document and the swatch refer to the same quality. A public page can tell you the renewal rhythm. It cannot list every lot.
What should a buyer request for OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100?
Send four facts with the sample request. Name the end use, such as a softshell shell, a windbreaker, or an upholstery face. Name the quality or collection you are sampling. State that you need OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 for that quality, not a general mill statement. Ask for the file after inquiry, and do not ask the website to print the certificate number.
Haida's public position is narrow on purpose. STANDARD 100 is renewed annually and is currently valid. Jacket qualities 5015, 6630F and 8500F already say that STANDARD 100 can be provided. That sentence stays on those products. It is not a license to paste the same sentence onto velvet, chenille, or a new development until that quality is on the current file.

If the program is still at handfeel stage, send the reference swatch and the target hand, GSM and usable width as separate lines. Those specification lines are not replaced by the document. A document without a quality name is as incomplete as a swatch without an end use.
What does yearly renewal not prove?
Yearly renewal means the STANDARD 100 file is kept current. It does not mean a buyer can skip the quality check. Coverage can be limited to named articles, product classes, or sites. Haida will say which of the sampled qualities are on the current file. Haida will not stretch one jacket sentence across the sofa range.
The same boundary applies to performance language. A substance-testing document does not set hydrostatic pressure, moisture-vapor transmission, or a Martindale band. Those values, when they exist, stay on the product that states them and still need their own test condition. Do not read 25000 Martindale, a waterproof heading, or a stain-resistant page as part of STANDARD 100.
GRS is a different mark and is not cleared for this article. Recycled-content pages are not proof of a recycled-claim certificate. If a buyer needs that file, the request has to name the mark and the quality, and the answer waits on a current scope. This article does not supply it.
Absolute lines such as zero leakage, impenetrable, or guaranteed for every production run are also outside this document. They change the commercial promise. They are not implied by a yearly STANDARD 100 renewal.
Where should the document request go?
Start on the factory and quality page, then send the request through Request Quote and Samples. Use Request With WhatsApp for the message itself. The factory page is the public route for what Haida will show before a first sample. The quote page is where application, reference and quantity per color are collected. Do not open a second article that only repeats the waterproof definition or the GSM guide.
In the message, keep the document ask in one line and the fabric spec in the next. Example: end use, quality name, GSM target, usable width, color reference, and "please send the current OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 file for this quality after inquiry." That is enough for a first review. It does not book a test, a price, or a ship date.
Are Haida fabrics fire-retardant or tested to a named flammability standard?
This article does not answer that test. OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 is not a flammability pass, and a flammability request is not answered by the renewal sentence above. If the program needs a named flammability standard, ask for that standard and the product scope separately. Do not treat a jacket document as a sofa flammability file.
