23HD-MC001 is a pongee backed matte velvet upholstery fabric with a 300gsm face and a 40gsm pongee backing, recorded at a 340gsm total on a 150cm width. The matte sanded face gives an even hand without the directional sheen of a pile velvet, and the light pongee reverse stabilises the panel without adding bulk. At 340gsm it carries enough body for sofa covers, cushions, seats, chair pads, and armrests while staying workable in small pieces. Confirm the face construction, usable width, composition, and performance requirements on a physical sample.
The 340gsm total and the 150cm width agree across the master table, the 2023 tag, the quotation sheet, and the group quotation sheet. The face weight does not: the tag and the quotation sheet record 300gsm while the master table and the group quotation sheet record 290gsm, and only 300gsm reconciles with the 340gsm total once the 40gsm backing is counted. A later model, 25HD-MC001 NEW, carries the same model stem with a 50gsm pongee backing, so the two must not be confused when quoting. Abrasion resistance, colorfastness, and fiber composition are not recorded. Confirm all open points through physical sampling and quotation.
What is 23HD-MC001 best suited for?

Is this the same as 25HD-MC001 NEW?
No. The later NEW model uses a 50gsm pongee backing against the 40gsm used here. The model stems are similar, so the two should be quoted separately.
